My Interests: Let’s Talk About The AntiRadio

IMG_3901The AntiRadio is a blog I kept in college about Indie music.  The purpose is mainly to introduce the public to bands who do not pay for a company to take care of their publicity and success.  This was a small passion project project.

I am a music fan; I’m interested in many genres of music and enjoy documenting my musical journey.  I am also a fan of festivals and intend to expand my musical tastes and experience.  See it here.

IMG_7570 2I began traveling a lot for RockTape. I represented our company at retail trade shows like Outdoor Retailer in Salt Lake City, fitness expos like the Arnold Bodybuilding Classic in Columbus, athletic events like the Boston Marathon and the CrossFit Games, fitness expos like IHRSA in LA, and medical conferences like the APTA CSM in New Orleans. I knew I loved to travel, but there are so many stories to be told about each trip, for business, and for fun!

IMG_0318Today, I’m developing a blog about my travels. As a frequent Southwest flier, I had the luxury of experiencing a lot of places in a few short years, so I created a social media outlet to highlight past, present and future adventures. This project began as a photojournalism hobby, but now I’m in the process of I’m refurbishing it all for the web. The @chictouriste Twitter and Instagram pages are up and running, gaining momentum at a leisurely pace. Until further notice, it’s all in the ‘gram.
